How to estimate fiber exposure from resin test print?
It's mid-term. My photography course is switching from resin-based to fiber-based paper. I have a boatload of RC paper already (the prof didn't have FB on the materials list or syllabus), and I'd like to use it for the test prints to save both time and money.
How can I estimate exposure time and contrast filter level? That is, I want to make a test print with RC paper, but use that to make my first shot at a usable print on the FB paper. I know it's still going to take 2-4 tries on the FB paper, but this cuts down on the un-budgeted cost.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Whether the paper is fiber-based or resin-coated shouldn't make any difference in the exposure time. With the same negative and developer, the exposure time should be the same regardless of whether you are using FB or RC paper...unless it specifically says that the paper is more sensitive than normal.
Exposure time depends on the density of the negatives. But for normally exposed 35mm film, I usually expose 8 X 10 paper on the enlarger for 10 seconds at f/8. For 120 film, I expose the paper for 10 seconds at f/16. Once you determine a good exposure (the print is not too light or too dark, with good contrast) then you should be able to use that same exposure time on either RC or FB paper.

I'm sure smoking resin will show up...it probably has really pure THC, which is what they test for. Have you tried the cleansing systems? Just google drug detox.
