I could take umbrage with you over that false claim,i.e. the worlds greatest whotsit !! we oldies have said similar,where shall I start?Stanley Woods,Duke,Ago,Mike t.B.Joey Dunlop, Barry Sheene Jim Redman,John Surtees,need I go on?,but racing will go on,this time next year ort year arfter there will be a new super hero,trust me I,m senile and see these thing thru my horn rims..You are getting withdrawal symptoms because winter is setting in.I find more whisky/less water solves most ailments,NOT Jack Daniels,its the only bad un,sent the red indians mad.If things ever get as bad as F1 then is the time to worry.Nowt wrong with S.B.racing. see you chuck.

Valentino will quit racing bikes soon - it would have be a travesty if the dude had gone a few years back when it was rumoured as there was a lot still to do. I was freakin when I thougt he was gonna go but honestly in a couple of years I am thinkin' that it will be right. All things come to an end an if the dude stays too long then he will lose his magical status.

Rallyin' - why the hell not? He has publically said it is a passion and he can make a career out of it. I think Wigglyman's take that Vale will not do a full attempt at it will not be how it pans out.

I am the biggest Rossi fan going but I don't follow bikes because of him and there is nuthin in the world that would make me follow car racing. Bike racin' is bigger than any single rider and to my mind anyone who thinks otherwise is missin the point totally. Have you ever been to watch a rally? Man it is worse than F1 - the cars zip past in a second and you don't see them again. Makes F1 look like a night of crazed leg over with the chicks from the Corrs in a bath of chocolate.

Albert dude is bang on too - like I said I am a Vale fan of the highest order but it is impossible to say he is greater than Ago or Hailwood in my book. As a bike racing fanatic I never got to see them race live but I have the videos and read about it - the ultimate accolade for Vale, Hailwood and Ago is to mention all three of them in the same company together.

Look man I was not trying to be controversial before but I was making the point that Wigglyman was scooping points by not adding anything to the debate and acting like it was his place to control the joint. Hi Girl Racer, someone has to say it... his days are numbered. granted on the same rubber with a great bike he might win this next season. but the young guns are catching up. if he wants closer racing with less powerfull bikes, tell him to go. he is getting older the kids are getting quicker. he will get closer racing in GP. Stoner will catch up. Dovi and pedrossa will be at him too. I hope Nicky gets in there to fight with them all. and if lorenzo stays rubberside down he will be kicking a@@ too. I doubt he will race GP after 2010. I think he will go rallying. I thought he would at the end of this season, so that shows what I know. I will wait and see what he says in the middle of 09.

But I cant wait for Spies to show up in the mix. (God Killer.)

Will he jump ship to WSB after 2010 ? There was rumors saying he wanted to race the last round of the WSB, but lets face it, if Vale asked ..... he would of got !

As for the G.O.A.T moving to 4 wheels, I think he will continue his rally drives, but just for fun rather then a full time " job ".
