Effects of fixed deposits during depression?
During depression, I presume, the price of all assets will come down since the number of buyers will also come down. What will happen to Gold? At that time, which will be more valuable, Gold or Fixed Deposits?

Regarding fixed deposits, Unless your bank declares bankruptcy , you are fine though the interest rates will be less ......
Gold is the good alternative investment to the currency when the currency is not performing bad.
