Well. I haven't had any paps because I had one right before I got pregnant. Most doctors don't check for dilation until at least 36 weeks unless there is a problem. The heartbeat however, is usually checked at every appointment.

You only need a pap smear once a year, unless an abnormality is noted in the test. It is a screening test for cervical cancer and has no direct connection with pregnancy.
I think you are confusing it with a vaginal exam. The Pap can be part of a vaginal exam. Not every vaginal exam consists of a Pap smear.
Pap tests are not limited to the cervix. They are used to check for cancerous or precancerous cells from many sources.
"Papanicolaou stain (also Papanicolaou's stain and Pap stain) is a multichromatic staining histological technique developed by George Papanikolaou, the father of cytopathology.
Pap staining is used to differentiate cells in smear preparations of various bodily secretions; the specimens can be gynecological smears (Pap smears), sputum, brushings, washings, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, abdominal fluid, pleural fluid, synovial fluid, seminal fluid, fine needle aspiration material, tumor touch samples, or other materials containing cells."

You would only have one pap smear -- and even then only if you were due for one. (A pap ISN'T the same as a pelvic exam/internal exam. A pap smear is particular test to check for signs of cervical cancer. A pelvic exam is where you put your feet in the stirrups and the doctor uses a speculum or his hands to check your insides. )
It's not necessary for the doctor to do multiple pelvic exams during pregnancy. You MAY be checked for dilation as you get close to your due date, but even that's not usually necessary.
But yes, the doctor should be checking baby's heart beat.

They usually only do one pap smear unless it comes back with positive results. As for checking for dilation they usually start around 37 weeks. My doctor started at 38 weeks. As for the heart beat. Im not sure if that is normal or not. I would think that they would want to check it at every visit. I would ask them why they didn't do it. If you feel you aren't getting proper care then switch OBs. I ended up doing that around 22 weeks for that reason.

you should have asked them to check the heartbeat if they didn't, they should have just done it, but you can ask. also one pap smear is ok, unless they are very concerned about you being dilated already they probably wont go back down there until you need the strep test. if you want to make sure things are ok, bring them up, if you think they should check, ask, if you want them to explain whether they need to or not and why or why not, then ask. also you don't need a pap smear to check whether your dilated, simple fingers will do.

yep no need to do another....you will around 32-34 weeks to see how far you are dilating..but there isnt really any point at this moment to give you another..if you experience bleeding etc..or if they cant get a good look at specific things on an ultrasound they may go vaginallly...but there is no reason to spread your legs every month while pregnant....no they should be checking the heart beat and at least let you hear it each visit...

You are not pregnant. Bright red blood with clots is pretty typical in a normal period in adulthood. Dark red blood sometimes occurs when a woman is pregnant. Trust your Dr.'s results and Yes, you are overthinking things. If you do not want to be a mother now, be wise, and use some good birth control....and or abstain for sexual intercourse for a while, at least until you are married and ready.

you only get the first pap, then around 33-34 weeks they begin checking for dialation. they should be checking the heart at each visit, but it could have been a busy day so just be sure they do it next time :)
