It will bolt up to the transmission but I am not sure about the engine mounts. What I would think about is unless you have great connections or a wreaked Vette, it will cost huge bucks to do this. Why not save the money now and get yourself a real Vette. If you want to do the work yourself, find a Vette that is broken. In order for the new motor run right you are going to have to get a lot of the electronics . I hope others will answer to tell you about the motor mounting.
