Why do people say Carlos Mencia is not Mexican?
I keep reading that people posted the part of his biography where it states that his mom IS Mexican and his dad from honduras and they are still saying he is not Mexican. What does she not count as parent or what because last time I checked the mom IS the one having the kid.

He is half Mexican and half funny. George Lopez is a much funnier comedian.

His mom is Mexican, and his father is Honduran. That would make him Half Mexican, Half Honduran. He's not just one, but he is both- not one more than the other.
But, sometimes it's easier to pick a dominant race- even if one isn't dominant. I'm not sure the reasoning, but it happens a lot.
My husband, my husband's father are both mixed races, but when asked- they only say one. And, of course- if you want someone more well known- Obama.

I heard his he was like a quarter german and Carlos menica isn't even his real name. He just changed it to that for a stage name to so that he can sound more mexican.
