I Need Girls To Translate This Girls Actions For Me?

So I met this girl when I was 19 working at my familys stores. I was 14. I was under the impression that she liked me. My family even joked she had a crush on me, my mom told me she had a crush on me. The girl would always try to touch me, hug me, grab me. She asked me out a few times, told me she was throwing herself at me. I always rejected her cause of the circumstances. I really did like her. Final days we worked together before I went back to college she begged me to stay in contact with her as "just a friend". I refused. She even wrote me a note saying she loved me and she told me I was breaking her heart when I didn't respond.

So I go back to college. I feel bad I really do like this girl. Probably had a bigger crush on her than she did on me. I try and get back into contact with her. I screw up and think she is mad at me and broke her heart. I felt REALLY bad. I wrote her a letter apologizing and explaining everything. She responds I'm crazy. A coworker tells me she was breaking up with a dude and having a tough time. She also tells me the girl never liked me and the touchy stuff was to screw with me cause I apparently was uncomfortable with it.

I try to play the letter off like its a joke and I was screwing with her cause I was mad that she constantly touched me and hugged me and hit on me at work.

So I don't talk to this girl for like six months. I come home for the summer girl comes in my store beginning of the summer and the end of the summer, I ignore her. She also works for my family so they can go to my college graduation and then never works again. Winter comes I have no contact with her. Beginning of the next summer she comes in my store a few days after I almost drowned and got rescued by the coast guard, I should be dead. She tries to talk to me I ignore her. After that she comes in a lot over that summer, like every day for a few weeks till an employee questions why she is coming in so much. She really says nothing to me just smiles and try to make eye contact. I notice a ton of phone call hang ups this summer. An employee tells me that a girl has been calling for me a few times wanting to know when I am working and where I am. She won't leave a name or a number any of the times she calls.
