Why should celebs get so many answers and stars when they ask a question?

It's so that some of the saddos that answer think that if they get a BA for it, that the "celeb" choose them over anyone else and can brag to all their mates :)

Edit. You're right there, maybe with all the extra money they get for it, they might be able to fix this site. Or is that too much to ask for.

Maybe not deserved at all, but with their shiny official label or celebrity shininess many people want to answer and star to see the results, but it does seem like a lot of yahoo answers "everyday" people are much more interesting and have better questions also!

I think it's just recognition..more people are drawn to the question. Doesn't hurt that yapoo posts it front and center either. I answered one, it was a very interesting question about how we can raise our daughters not to be promiscuous. So I starred. If I didn't like the question, I wouldn't even answer 'just cause' it was a celeb.

People like to associate themselves with famous types; it gives them an ego boosf. Myself, I honestly couldn't care less.
