Are their any Ron Paul supporters here on Yahoo?
Just curious if their were many Pro Ron paul supporters out here on yahoo. I think he is a very honest man who really does want to help us all out and not the government. Just looking him up on Youtube i liked hearing him talk about things like the federal reserve/IRS and being against the Patriot act and everything. I think he would do alot of good if he was elected, not the same Republican/Democrat that do nothing for the average person... How great would a no income tax be!
If Ron Paul runs for president in 2012, he has my vote :)! Its good to know other poeple support Ron Paul and I think poeple who don't need to take a closer look. All it takes is a youtube search or a google. Okay thats all I had to say, long live the revolution? lol.
Hey guys, do you think Ron Paul really has a chance to win if he did run in 2012? Even if he did, I would think the democrats/Republicans wouldn't let it happen unless something revolutionary would happen right? Idk. If anybody here goes to the rally to Abolish the fed tomarrow, could you please write on this board letting us/me know how it went. I'm not sure if the media will report it or not, would be cool to know that alot of poeple actually rallied around Ron Pauls message to Abolish The Fed. ty in advance. Go Ron Paul!

I live outside America yet was told about Ron Paul ages ago I always support truth and he has been proved correct over nearly every issue. What is sad is how people were desperate for change yet failed to vote for the man who would have given them it. Obama is related to Bush so why do people always fall for media manipulation and keep these corrupt bloodlines in power

I proudly support Ron Paul!
Holyoke, please readup some more on Ron Paul.
He wanted to try to phase out Social Security if he was elected President. Current recipients would never lose a penny according to his long term plan.
His plan called for newer members entering the work force be allowed to save for retirement by buying interest bearing bank C.D.'s.
This would help the local banks all over the country, if they have good management, and the worker should have a large amount saved if they can keep at it for 40 or 50 years.
{edit} I would much rather help people in my local area with my retirement fund then put ever increasing amounts into a bottomless pit that is estimated to run out in 2017. By the way S.S. goes into the general fund and is not interest bearing.
>>>My bank didn't go under 20 years ago, did yours?
Isn't it a persons own responsibility to make sure their money is safe?
Also to go with this he would have tried his best to return the U.S. to money that doesn't inflate, such as Constitutional money that didn't lose very much purchasing power for about 130 years in the years between 1792 and 1932.
{edit} governments at all levels are right now are being forced to downsize because revenue is drying up due to poor management of the whole monetary system.
So when Ron Paul said he would like to cut spending by downsizing the government before a real deep depression arrives, he was right on!
{edit again} Mr Holyoke, I can see you would gladly like government to take care of you and make decisions for you from cradle to grave, may I suggest Cuba as the land of your dreams?

Ron Paul was the ONLY republican candidate who wasn't a socialist. The neo-"conservative" republicans (who have long ago rejected the idea that capitalism the right economic system) are essentially nationalist socialists, while the liberal democrats are essentially marxist socialists. But if you ask me, a socialist is a socialist.
Ron Paul 2012, I like that idea.

But, would Ron Paul have support from the Congress and Senate...I sometimes think people get to caught up in the President, and not whom is elected to the House and Senate...There is where the bartering will go on.

If he is a true anarchist for change and I was American then definitely, as he seems like someone who is letting people know what is going on.
Most reasonable people (that's not very many from certain backgrounds) want a fair deal, but the truth on real issues is too much for many of the less informed to comprehend.
People need educating on how bad the corruption is throughout this area.

I supported him while he was still in the running!! He does have very good points but is not a major participant. We have no say in who gets elected president. We elect the electoral college and they decide. They would never choose ron paul..

Yes and he has been right about everything all along, jsut not a good ole boy, but with the right support who knows. He is brilliant and must talk over peoples heads, so until we can up the level in the public schools he may have to talk down, ha. Take care and hang in there.

A few, yes.
On Saturday there is an end the fed rally at 39 federal reserve branches to protest the bailouts and shine light on the Fed's part in this, and to support Ron Paul's HR 2755 to abolish the Federal reserve.
I wrote him in in November and am working with his Campaign for Liberty now. There are many issues, and there is a lot of work to be done.

Ron Paul ran for the Libertarian Party in the 1980s, and his campaign this year was based on much the same policies.
Like most (all?) libertarians, he's a borderline anarchist.
If that's what you want from a presidential candidate, good on you. But I'm not sure why you'd be voting Republican.

Ron Paul is so far to the right that people confuse him for a progressive, because he's opposed to banking bailouts/foreign wars/patriot act/etc etc
It's the same story as Lyndon Larouche.
But keep your eyes open kids, he's a "nightwatchman state" libertarian. Do you really want an America where it's "everyone for themselves"?
