Old PC/DOS Pirate Game - Forgot Name?
I'm struggling to find the name of a game I played back in the 90s. These are the things I know from my memory:
1. It was a strategy game I believe..turned based.
2. About pirates, you were a ship and moved around the world by using a map (no it wasn't "Pirates")
3. You could play against the computer or a friend
4. Had the name either blackbeard or blackbird in it
5. Something to do with finding the treasure and the word "doubloon".
6. Fancy wavy writing at the start in red.
7. Not sure if it was DOS or Windows. If DOS, very late, if Windows very early.
I really wish I could remember more. Doing searches with "blackbeard pc game" and "blackbeard doubloon game" and many others come up negative or a modern version of something, "Blackbeards Assault" which isn't it!
Your thoughts would be most appreciated.
