A Buffalo Nickel (also known as an Indian Head Nickle) was a US 5-cent piece minted from 1913 to 1938. It had an image of a Buffalo on one side and an image of a Native American on the other. Its mintage ended in 1938 when they began minting the Jefferson nickel.

The Indian Head Penny was a US 1-cent piece minted from 1858-1909. In 1909, the mint began production of the Lincoln Penny to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth.

    The size

And most importantly, it takes a tribe of 5 indians to catch one buffalo, but it doesn't take a herd of 5 buffaloes to equal one indian.
