I have a question about GPA'S?

A friend on mine has a 2.55. GPA in her second semester in college. Is it possible that by the time she graduates from college in three years she can raise that to about a 3.75 or higher?

Is it possible? Yes. Is it likely? No.

    I say that because:

    1) Will she be able to suddenly change her lifestyle and study habits to become a straight-A student?

    2) You will pretty much have to get an A in every single class just to get it close to that 3.75 range.

    3) Why is her GPA so low right now? That's what she should look at first and try to change those bad habits.

That being said, don't look at it as "going up from a 2.55 to a 3.75" but to use a cliche, "take it one semester at a time." Don't bite off more than you can chew. Just try to do well in each semester and don't think about suddenly trying to become a top-top student.
