is getting a website on Google free?
I am making a website on FreeWebs.com, and i want it to be on the Google search engine, but it doesn't say if it costs anything, and it seems on websites everything that's free, you know it because they wright it in bold everywhere around it, and i don't want to go over budget, because it's a real pain trying to keep up with the bill if you keep flowing over budget...

The natural listings (on the left) are free. any website on the internet can come up here automatically. These results are ordered due to relevance. On the right hand side, these are sponsored links and you pay every time someone clicks on your ad (which is why tis called pay per click). the costs for this can vary depending on industry as some keywords are more expensive to appear for than others. These results are ordered depending on how much you are bidding per keyword.

it depends. the results at the top and on the right side are sponsored ads. you have to have an adwords account to be listed in those areas. the area below that are found on the internet by the google search spider. it will find you sooner or later. but to get a good ranking you need to make sure the words you want to rank well for are in the title of your website, in the headers and in the body of text on your page. you will also need to have links to your website from other websites, preferably on a similar topic as yours, link back to your site using the keywords you want to rank well for in the link text. it's that simple. the more competitive the keyword phrase, the more of those links you'll need.

Its free to be on googles search engine but its takes A LONG time to get there and most likely you wont be on the first few pages.
Its going to take a few months of your site being up to see it on google.
