help with this girl cultural differences at play my friend?

Ight so Im tall greta looking white male with a lot of muscle. lol it sound a little ridiculous but thats just how i describe myself. so i moved to brooklyn and i dont know if any of you people have moved to another place very different from where you are from it can be quite an adjustment. So anyway I go to school here and I'm really feelin this girl and I feel like she the coolest girl I've ever met. unfortunately there are certain boundries culturally that it seems really difficult to get over. For example she is black I'm white. For those who don't live in a somewhat "self segregated society" this can be difficult to overcome. The color of our skin is not even the issue. Its the cultural differences i.e speech, food, style... pretty much everything that makes up ones lifestyle. So my question is how would I even begin to let her know that I really like her. Btw we do know and talk and go places afterschool but it seems like she wouldn't even notice me as a potential boyfriend. So how would one change this is my question.
