Website building sites?
I want to build a website... nothing fancy, just something to venture into and learn a little about. I remember back in high school using websites about HTML codes, etc. where we designed websites. Does anyone know of some good sites to go where it will teach you about this stuff?
Thanks

The first place you should check out is
which not only covers HTML, but other web development technologies as well.
Another great site to check out is
http://www.wdvl.com/Authoring/Tutorials/
which, like the first site, also covers subjects like XML, CSS, PHP & DHTML.
Some other HTML tutorials:
http://www.pagetutor.com/index.html
http://www.quackit.com/html/tutorial/
If you start messing with HTML and find that you want to dig deeper and learn more, I would move to:
XHTML, which is basically the same as HTML, but a stricter, cleaner version of it.
CSS - cascading style sheets. This helps you to display and style your site. Easy to learn. Also helps in organization since you can style multiple pages the same way using one file.
If you still want more, check out DHTML, Javascript and maybe PHP.

This site has a section on web design and other steps of the online marketing process. It's very comprehensive.
