macbook water damage?
I have an apple macbook which has recently droped dead on me and the whole questyion mark with a folder thing started poping up which means it could not fidn my drives and i tried everything i could to get them back. so I took it to the apple store in which they couldn't do anything for me but send it in to get a new harddrive,a question was asked to me about water damage and i said no, because i believe i didn't have any but it could be a possibilty which is another story, but i do have the 3 yr apple protection plan and y question is if my macbook was sent in and they find water damage can they send it back to the store with out repairing or or do you think they will just repair it?

Noway it can be a water damage nor a harddrive problem. Its just the problem with the operating system and the softwares. If you are so sure that there is no water damage, just send it to the service center demanding a Operating system reinstallation with a data backup.

IF it's water damage, no, they wouldn't repair it, and further more, it's quite likely you'd be charged for their diagnosis time too. Sorry!

If there is obvious water damage (they can tell), it won't be repaired under warranty. You'd have to pay for it.
