How do you delete a table on Microsoft word? ?

I don't know, its strange. The way I get around this is just to highlight the whole table then 'cut' it.

There's a delete table option in the table menu (2003) or on the Layout tab in the ribbon (2007).

Yeah, this is one where you have to know exactly what to select.

You have two options:

1. Select the table and a paragraph mark above or below it and press delete.

or

2. Select the table, click your Right mouse button ON THE SELECTION and choose to delete...

Hint: When using word, be conscious of where you click to make selections and how your mouse changes, it all gives clues to the context of the position of the mouse.
