Did Vic Mackey get what he deserved?
Or did he get off easy? I just finished watching the series finale and was extremely satisfied, what did you think?
Who do you feel the worst for?

Yes, Vick got what he deserved. And he will continue to pay. Vick prided himself on his loyalty to his team, but the team ended up dead or in prison. He prided himself on loyalty to his family, but his family left him, never to be seen again. He prided himself on being a cop, and expected to jump right into being a cop for ICE, but that was not to be. He was reduced to a bureaucrat in a cubicle, doing a meaningless job, for three years until they cut him loose. The one that I still feel worst for is Lem. He had the best moral compass of the four of them, and Shane murdered him for it. Shane in many ways was the worst of the four. Ronny was loyal to Vick and the team, and in the end, Vick was disloyal to him. Good, morally and intellectually honest end to a great series.

I was glued to my TV-I love that show! Even though Vic was a "bad cop" who you just loved to hate, you still cant help but feeling somewhat sorry for the guy-even if only a tiny ounce. I had the feeling that Shane was going to die but I didnt expect him to take Jackson and Mara with him. But with Vic, he got what he wanted with the immunity but it came with a huge price that he never bargained for and that's what made it so great in the end. I wish the show wasnt over cuz Vic is the type of character with his dirty past and shady connections he could make a huge come back and I think there are some unresolved issues that would be very interesting to get into more. But, I was happy with the finale though. If anybody out there has never seen the shield, I highly recommend it!

Well, he "got away with it" technically, like he always did, but the cost was losing everything he ever cared about: his family, his friends and being a real cop. He'll have the rest of his life to reflect on how many lives he destroyed.
Remember Joe Clark? Vic's former partner played by Carl Weathers who showed up a couple of times to give Vic a glimpse into his own possible pathetic future. Vic has become that guy.
Isn't it interesting, however, that for seven seasons, we have been watching and rooting for Vic as he stayed one step ahead of getting nailed and just this past season, we were reminded of what a terrible person he is and watched with satisfaction as he fell?

oh yea vic got off way to easy...come on way to easy and in 3 years he's down with his desk job and can do what ever he wants
ronnie got the raw end of the deal you ask me that just sucks major a** for ronnie. i wish it showed a little more with ronnie but otherwise it was a good ending.

Vic should have been one of the ones who got killed or went to prison. I felt shane and his family should have lived and set free.

losing his family, ronnie, shane, and being a cop on the street. at least he didn't go to jail. i feel bad for ronnie, when he said going on the run.
now i feel bad for us, what do we watch now?

are you for real? he should have gotten the death penalty... he killed a cop, robbed millions of dollars, and planted tons of evidence. he got off EASY
