"My Computer" button?

This may be a really stupid question, but I can't find the "My Computer" button on my Windows Vista!!

    Haha try going into the start menu, it will be on the side. Drag and drop it onto your desktop, thats what worked for me.

    Maybe because you renamed it when you were installing your operating software, Vista. Also, in Vista, it's just called "Computer." It's normally under the "Start" button on the right column but if it's not there, check to see if you see "C:" drive. That's virtually your "My Computer" icon.

    Right click on the desktop and select "Personalize", then in the upper left corner select "Change desktop icons" and make sure there is a check next to the "Computer" option. Then click and "Apply" and "OK". Hope this helps!

    check in the icons around it you may have moved it around into another folder if that doesnt work you may want to click start -->

    all programs--> my computer (if its there)

    From what I can remember the shortcut for the explorer is WINKEY+E
