How many minutes per pound?

I am cooking my first turkey tomorrow, it is 10.5 pounds. How many minutes should I cook it per pound and at what temp. I want this turkey to be perfect.

    run to the store and get a cooking bag for the bird.they are fool proof,cut down the amount of cooking time,and the bird is great-moist and delicious.all for under$2. have fun and good luck

    It's 20 minutes per pd and you have 3 and 1/2 pounds. So it would be 3 x's 20= 60 minutes or 1 hour then 1/2 pound would be half of 20 minutes so an additional 10 minutes. Or 1 hour and 10 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes.

    Un stuffed, your turkey will take 15 minutes per pound. Stuffed, 20 min. per pound. A meat thermometer is a must (for me at least) The best temperature to remove the turkey for perfectly cooked white meat is 155-160 degrees breast temperature. Cook at 325*

    Used to be the turkey wasn't done until the thermometer reached 185*, but that like pork has been changed. That temp. is too high and our turkeys were always DRY!

    do not do minutes per lb it doesnt work start your over at 500 degrees for 30 minutes then lower it to 350 chech the breast when ite hits 150 cover with foil then when the thigh reads 170 pull it and let it rest for at least 30 minutes

    for 5 minutes per pound

    for 10.5 pounds it should kept for max. 45 minutes but at high temp.
