I got some family issues?
you see,I have a mother, who,I understand is very popular during her youth. My sister,15 years old,is very shy at school yet very active at home. They get into fights almost every day.My mother keeps complaining about her shyness at school.I understand that my mother only wants my sister to gain many friends just like her.She often fights with her saying that she's a loner(but she's not). But my sister has got only few friends at school.I am worried that my sister cannot take my mother's words anymore and she will leave home or do a suicide.I am usually speechless as I am afraid to get involved in their fights.
I am really worried.Any suggestions?

First id suggest talking to your mum on your own without your sister.
Let her know what you think about the situation (in a nice way ofcourse) and tell her you think she shouldnt be so harsh on your sister. Tell her that you know your sister is not a loner and not to worry, just try to assure her that you will help. Tell her you will speak with your sister yourself and try to help the situation.
The as i just said, go talk to your sister. Let her know you understand she isnt a loner, but that she needs to understand that your mum is worried about her and only wants her to be happy.
I think your mum just cares to much, like every other mother, she wants her child to be happy and be surrounded with friends.
As long as your sister is happy and enjoying life with no problems, then i think your mum should just accept the fact your sister doesnt need alot of friends to be happy.
Hope ive helped, good luck =]

I agree with Kerry and also you should pray earnestly about it before talking to your mother ~ God bless you!
