Does anyone know where i can download macromedia flash player for free?

I'm trying to install a sony handycam onto my computer but it keeps telling me i need a macromedia player. i have downloaded a media player but it's still saying i need a macromedia player. Anyone know where im going wrong?

    You need a FLASH player not a media player which is different. A media player player is like iTunes or Windows Media Player that can play videos, MP3s, and such. A Flash player enables you to watch online videos such as YouTube and stream online music. You can get it from here...
