i love how yahoo deletes avatar games and little stuff like that so fast, but they let trolls like her wonder around the site for so long. I reported her and nothing happened.

I saw something like this earlier in the week. I thought it was a video response and when I double clicked, my anti-virus warned me there was something malicious in the link. I looked at his other answers and they were exactly the same - something like "This is the answer you're looking for"

I went into all of his answers and he had a string of TD's. Like this one, his profile was only created that day. I reported each of his answers. It's actually the first time I have reported anyone. I really feel in recent weeks that Y!A is getting more idiots trying to spoil everyone else's fun.

So far as getting rid of the trojan, I don't know what AV you use. I can tell you that I only use freeware and my combo is Avira AntiVir Personal and SuperAntiSpyware Free Edition. Google them to find the links. They have helped me out a lot lately.

EDIT: Just refreshed your link and all her answers have been deleted. One - nil to the good guys I believe! lol

I wish I'd have thought of going public when I saw got that link I told you about. That was very good thinking.

People do it all the time. They write "to much to type...."

Just report it and do not open their links.

I reported him also to do you a pleasure but tomorrow he will have another name.

My virusscanner reports those sites as attack sites and blocks them when loading because the site redirects you to one or more other pages. I Have AVG8 free with webplugin for Firefox.

Two really good programs to clean are MBAM from http://www.idealsoftware.nl/MBAM and Super Anti Spyware from http://www.superantispyware.com/?tag=GOOGLE-SUPERA...

Read those links before you click them. This is very useful. When you clean very important files, there is no guarantee your system will still work, do you understand? Backup those systemfiles first. Sometimes you must look for special cleaners for certain viruses on the Internet but these programs will come up with the identity of the virus.

this person has had at least 40 different accounts in the past 10 days. I keep reporting them and finally asked Y!A if they couldn't block their IP. Just keep reporting the person that posts those links...they always say something like..it's too long to type out but this link will help you. Keep reporting and ask Y!A to permanently block them.

Are you sure you have a virus? The new thing is a scare tactic, they will usually tell you your computer is at risk "Threat detected", and then try to get you to buy a fake anti-virus program to get your details. Beware of "Anti-virus 2009" -- fake. Click "Report Abuse" under her answer.

I don't know how to report someone, but if you find out, please do!

My firewall caught the last one I did. I just immediately did the virus scan and rebooted my computer. I don't click on links anymore unless from a trusted source.

  • Omg! I just went on her profile and all her answers are exactly the same! Why is she doing this? I'll go try to report her

I know, I clicked on a link she gave me too but luckily my computer has antivirus so it told me it wasn't safe before I went there. I don't click on any links on here anymore just because of that and sorry but I don't know how you can fix your computer. I'm not too good with that stuff.
