should wear something on them since i always hit my foot on something

I do all three. Usually in the winter I will wear socks or slippers but in the summer I usually always go barefoot.

It all depends on the weather outside and how warm or cold it is inside. Sometimes socks, sometimes barefoot, sometimes slippers or mocassins and sometimes both!

Wearing socks or flipflops keeps the carpet clean if the flipflops are only used indoors.
