Well first of all im assuming you've update it to 2.53 which is the latest one (As of 6th of december 08)... But you need to make sure you've actually got disk space.

Go to Settings>System Settings>System Information And it will tell you how much space is used up.

If you don't have any more space obviously try deleting anything you can, but also try deleting a few games' imprinting files, which can take up almost 2 gigs. These files are under Game Data Utility.

Only do this for a game you dont have or wont use again, it wont delete your saves, just when you insert that game in again, it will want to install itself again, taking up more room. Make sure not to delete your save files, which are stored in Saved Data Utility.

If you have plenty of room but Ratchet and Clank still wont work? try wiping any trace of Ratchet and Clank off the ps3, and trying a different game disc maybe off a friend or hired. If nothing works take the game back and talk to the proffessionals! Hope this helped.

This is a common problem with this game but it is an easy fix. 1st, download something over 500MB from the PlayStation Store, like the Ratchet and Clank Future Demo for example. When the item is finished downloading, install it, then delete it. Start the game up and the problem should be solved.
