You cannot go right into Special Forces after commissioning.

    For Rangers or Special Forces

You have to have command time first in a regular init.

You have to be a 1st Lt ( promotable )

If your a non ROTC scholarship student, you can major in whatever you want to major in.

If your a scholarship ROTC student, they have a list of specific majors ( mainly technicial majors ) you must choose from.

"It" doesn't work like that...there is no "Special Forces" as a major in college.

You can do whatever you want in school, but there are majors in school that will certainly be better for career enhancement and life after the Army.

Foreign area studies and foreign languages. For areas you are likely to be sent as a Special Forces operative, were you ever to make it that far.
