why is eating meat considered as "Animal Cruelty"?

That is 100% False. People do not need meat... Where did you figure that out? It isn't true.

Well, raising animals in bad conditions, just to kill them, doesn't that seem like it would be a ton of fun for animals? I don't think so... obviously other people don't see it the same way as me, but it is my opinion.

And the animals that eat other animals argument:

That is very true. But think about it, animals must kill and eat other animals, otherwise they will die. Eat or be eaten, and all that. Then think about humans!! Do we really need to raise all of these animals, and then kill them, just because they taste good? There IS a difference.

I agree with you. It's not animal cruelty. God created certain animals to be killed and eaten. I don't think they feel the pain that much either. But they all have an instinct to survive of course. But eating meat is good for you. I don't eat pork.

eating meat is a choice . it is not animal cruelty if the animals are properly and humanely cared for.

battery hens, pigs in steel stalls ..etc... is cruelty. free range is ok.

so long as vegetarians get proper balanced diet, with adequate protein, they can do very well without meat.

first off i like meat. if you think about it it is kinda cruel. these animals are being bred just for food. chickens for example, they are kept in small cages all their life to produce eggs, or a bunch kept in a small area raised just for meat. some don't get to see grass. i don't think the fact that people eating meat is cruel, just how they are raised and treated.

Yes i completely agree with you. People must eat meat and its just nature. Like there is a fine line between the two of them , like eating and because you like to eat them or you have too,that's fine, but simply slaughtering because you feel like it and killing pets that's cruel.

i dont mind eating meat because its been killed for a reason.

if a family like in africa or something gets some meat. is that animal cruelty? i dont think so

its killing animals for no aparent reason that makes me angry like for sport and fun

killing something is about as cruel as you can get, so therefore, eating meat is considered animal cruelty. we could argue forever on which lifestyle is better. it's simply a matter of opinion...one that i don't feel like wasting my energy disagreeing with you or anybody else about.

it depend wat kind of animal it is 4 ex. if u eat a monkey its animal cruelty butt if u eat chiken its fine
