Would like to find out where to buy the old standard seeds for plants like tomatoes, potatoes and such.?

I am looking for the old plants that our parents had years ago. The ones that you could save the seeds and replant them and get the same fruit or veg. from it. Is there a web site that I could go to and buy these kind of seeds now days?

    There's actually 321,000 google listings on this, and more web sites that look good than I want to pick just one out specifically - they all look good. The key is to search for "Heirloom Seeds". A lot of people are interested in preserving these now, some places even share seeds for free. Here's the results:

    In the garden isle at Wal-Mart or I BET YOU,,, even in the vegetable / produce area in your local market. But FOR SURE, in the garden section of any WAL-MART

    talk to the local nurseryman. my folks bought their produce at the grocery store.
