Microsoft Office Excel programming help?

Is it possible (I think it is) to program a cell in Microsoft Excel to change color if it is a certain value? I'm trying to make a simple spreadsheet for myself to keep track of my money flow, and if I have a negative flow, I want the final cell to turn red. I know it was possible in Office 2003, but now that I have Office 2007, I can't find the way to do it. Also, it's been about 3 years since I've done anything like this, so I'm a bit rusty. Can anyone give me directions?

No programming needed. What you need is conditional formatting.

Select the cell you want to color. On the home ribbon, click 'Conditional Formatting'. Select Highlight Cell Rules. Select Less than.

Enter the value and the formatting yo want.

Of course you can also use other rules.

Yes, go to Format/Conditional Formatting while you have the desired cells selected. i.e. If cell value is .. less than... 0.01.. then format as desired.

Have you tried to install and check it in some other computer whether the setup file which you are using is working perfectly? if not try it. If its working properly in some other machine perfectly, then my advice is just format your pc (C Drive) and install New OS (Windows-XP) using the bootable disk and after installing the OS then install the office. It will work fine. ------------------------- Ms-Exl-Learner -------------------------
