changing golden blonde hair to lighter blonde without bleach?

I bleached my dark brown hair and I turned it into golden blonde months ago...I was wondering if there's anyway to change it to a lighter shade of blonde and to soften the golden tone or eliminate it all together without actually bleaching it...someone had suggested that I use one box of hair dye for woman of color? ITS A BIT HARSH BUT IT WORKS APPARANTLY

Unfortunately, you can't change your hair to a lighter shade without bleaching it.

The color won't come through and won't turn out like the box if you dye hair that's darker than the shade.

To remove the golden color, just dye over it with a slightly greyer color. No, not old lady grey, but just a little less aturated. Your hair might look a little funky, but without bleach that may be all you can do.
