Yahoo Messenger uses P2P connection in webcam, in picture sharing and in file transfer.

You can not get around that, but you can find out the reason why your cam is freezing...and fix it.

When a webcam image "freezes," this is typically due to a lack of system resources on your computer or to your internet connection being overloaded.

This generally happens when your internet connection doesn't have the bandwidth to keep up with the demands of the camera.

Check the system requirements on the webcam manufacturer's website (or the manual that came with it) and make sure your computer meets them.

The only thing to do is to upgrade your internet connection and simplify the settings on your camera.

    Good luck!
