Is there more to the world...?

We believe the world to be what we sense it to be. That is, if we can see, hear, taste, touch or smell it, then we say it exists. Therefore we limit our world to what we can perceive. Like a deaf person who percieves the world to be without sound, do you think there are forces, energies or whatever else you might call them, that we are unable to sense and so our perception is incomplete?

    Of course there are.

Scientists recently discovered that the eyes of mantis shrimp can see ultraviolet light and are looking to harness that ability to use in advanced warfare. we are only able to perceive a limited spectrum of sound, bats and dogs can listen to sound waves of a greater range of decibels than us, hence bats can use echolocation to detect things unseen in a cave. There are many more spiritual people that believe they can sense God in their lives, something that not all people in this modern age can claim. To be corny, can you perceive a parent's love? You can obviously not see, hear, taste, touch or smell it, but its there. There are many things that science cannot explain, things that we can yet detect.

There is a whole lot more to the world, the easiest way for you to experience more of it is to travel and meet people around the world, go to the library and read something that you have yet acquired interest on. Open your eyes and notice the mundane things around you.

Sure there's more to the world than what our senses can perceive. That's why we have a brain and a heart. Thoughts and feelings aren't tangible though they're reliable indicators of a non-physical world - the world of emotions and rational thinking. The most important things aren't therefore physical nor perceived by our senses, they don't have a material existence - which doesn't mean they don't exist. You can't see the wind but you know it's there.

I think everyone one's senses are incomplete, even if they can do all five things (see, hear etc) otherwise whywould we have people who are said to have "sixth senses"? Of course there is more to the world than we see, simply because we can never unravel all the mysteries of the world or travel every centermetre square of it.

This can be proven scientifically as well, the human being can see and hear only a limited range. There are sounds and colours which we can never, will never see...

There definitely is more to the world, including the forces and energies you are talking about.

But we *can* sense it, with training. There are other human senses apart from the physical ones. But you need to work at noticing the input from these senses.

The world is just outside and you make the best of it to be your World. Everyone will find comfort in their own world but U can offer to share it out in your way.

there is angles, devils, Hell, Paradise and most important (GOD).. we sure cannot see all these things but the Holy-book "Qur'an" tells us that.

you may say "but what is the prove that qur'an is telling truth" I say that qur'an got many proves about it is truth such Scientific proves, telling what will happen in future...etc.

you can know all these things by just reading it, and you will know the truth. :)

I truly think so...Cuz sometimes stuff happens and scientists don't know how to explain it, so they make up something. But some people know there is something out there..............
