Why does yahoo call it suspention?

A suspension is for a specific period of time this is not, failing getting an appeal that passes, you are gone forever. so why not just call it a expulsion?

"Suspension" means that your answers account is terminated but you can still use all your other Yahoo accounts. You can appeal and if you're lucky you can get your "Answers" account reinstated

When Yahoo "Terminates" your "Answers" account, you lose all your ather accounts as well.

I haven't heard of any way back from a termination.

I think it just sounds more appealing, like Yahoo! will let you back here, so they don't lose customers.

I think it is just the kind of language, if they call it more negative language then it will be looked on as more "aggressive" in a way.

It's all about getting people to use their website.

it sounds better or less offensive than account deletion or as you say expulsion.

Cosy Yahoo doesn't like to offend anyone so they give it a nicer title. :) It's so politically correct that it scares me.
