Is Foxfire 3 better than Internet Explorer? ?
I am not computer savvy and am stumbling into the 21st century. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

It's Firefox.
Many will say that it is, some will say it isn't. There are silly wars over preferences here, and in the end it just depends on what you prefer.
Realistically, though, and especially if you're not computer savvy, you're usually safest with Firefox of these two options. Opera is another highly recommendable option.
One more that I always forget about is Google's Chrome. If you're looking only for basic functionality, this is an excellent browser.

In my personal opinion, just about anything is better than internet explorer. :)
Joking aside, I use Firefox 3. IE is just too clunky, overloaded with a bunch of useless features, and is, quite frankly, an eyesore. I'd recommended using Firefox, but perhaps you should try both just to see which fits you best.

.Yes firefox is better. It runs faster than internet explorer.As well as more reliable and does not freeze up like internet explorer.

well firefox because of the variety of add ons and support is great
its alot faster but can use alot of resorces and internet explorer use to crash for me hourly
