I dont think anything's 'free' in life.

You had to 'pay' for everything that you get, and for everything that you need.

You had to be deserving of every privilege that you enjoy, otherwise you'll eventually lose it.

And yes, even the air that we breath - we are starting to lose it now, considering the grave irresponsibility of those who are indifferent. Even FREEdom itself has to be paid - those who has made the 'downpayment' bartered their very lives for it. While the people who now benefits from that independence had to shoulder the 'amortization and incurred interests' thru the way they SHOULD be living their own lives.

Everything has its 'price', and those priceless few which cant be bought, entail much responsibility in order for them to be kept.

Nothing worth having in life is free. Even love costs selflessness in return.

I believe the best things in the world are NOT for free. Although it is a fact that money can't buy you love, trust, family, laugh, happiness, and all those spices in life; they are always earned and paid in other terms.

Love is earned. you can't just simply get it in the air and call it love. you have to prove that you deserve to be loved and earn it. if someone gives you love out of nothing, that's not love yet. it's called compassion, and compassion is earned through other things like experience and understanding. how about a mother's love and father's love? it was still earned by your parents and they just gave it to you. its like your mom just bought you a candy and gave it to you. sure in your case its free but generally its not. your parent's love is a product of your mother's and father's love to each other. God's love? that maybe the only thing for free; but for skeptics, i know there are a lot there who might disagree; the burning flames of hell, the irony of it all.

trust is always earned. i'm sure a lot of people know that. trust is something molded and tested. i'm sure trust is a simplier topic than love. however, it seems that materialism has distorted how trust is viewed in the financial world. that's why you have credit points to get your loan. certainly, as far as i know, credit ponts can be bought too.

family? somebody built it for you. so in the general sense, it isn't for free. in fact, the true essence of family is made. it's made up of other things such as love, unity, communication, etc and not just your family name, your mom and dad, and you. would you like to add your pets too?

happiness? you can't be happy if you don't pay effort to be happy. its something to be realized and not just something to be felt. how could you be happy if your not aware of it? right?

laugh? you have to earn experience, understanding, and mold your sense of humor. now how could that be free? how could you laugh out of nothing? i guess the lunatics know the secret.

and the list of best things in life is infinite but i'm pretty sure that you still have to exert some effort and gain understanding to attain them.

but on the contrary, it all depends on how you perceive things to be free. free isn't just all about money you know....

Jesus is free to all who seek him. Unfortunately, false teachers,false pastors,evangelists and false prophets use Jesus to make money for themselves. Jesus was never about making money. He was concerned about individuals most so called "normal or accomplished" people did not care for.
