How do you feel wearing your underwear around the house?

Do any of your folks wander about semi-clad or naked? If not, then it's likely they won't like you to do it.

Keep it to your room until you get your own place... or try wearing just shorts - like gym shorts or board shorts, with a bare top first.

See if that raises any eyebrows.

EDIT: - oh and don't go wearing just panties. Then they'll really freak out and think that you're going to go for a sex-change op or something.

I wouldn't. I would however wear baggy shorts similar to boxers. This way you both win. They can be the type without an open fly, maybe button type. That would be the closest thing to boxers. Do not wear white ones, you're gay remember! That's what I do.

Generally, I would say that if it is already common in your household, then go for it. If not, a shorty robe over the underwear can still be comfortable and get your point across. My b/f is comfortable around the house in just his boxers or nude, but I'm not.

Boxers are about the same as a bathing suit or shorts. What's the difference? It shouldn't be based on being gay, but rather being comfortable.

I walk around in tighty whities and a t-shirt all the time - except I have a robe on so no one else knows that I'm doing it.

General rule of thumb:

If you're in someone's house and you don't see THEM doing it, you probably shouldn't either.

But to answer your question: I run around my house naked. But then again, I live ALONE. So I can do whatever the hell I want to.

my dad doesnt get mad when im around the house in my tshirt & panties. so i guess it just depends on them.

I wouldn't recommend it. Older people have trouble accepting it when teens start displaying their sexual nature.
