i have this problem too, if i leave it a few days it normal spits it out eventually. I have been advised that using copied CD'S can damage, and that why the reader fails.
the guy at the store told me to clean the player head when i can next get at it, as this will help.
He said the problem cant really be fixed fully, a new cd player is the only other option

this has happened to me before... is it stock or after-market? after market players are easier to deal with, but what I do is turn the car off, back on, see if the cd will start playing, if it's playing, hit the eject button, if it doesnt come out about 5 times of doing this, while holding the eject button, take something small like a paper clip or something of the sort, stick it in to try and grab the cd to yank it out, be careful though... very careful. Im not saying this will def. work for you, but it worked for me. I have a gmc yukon.

What ever you do, dont use tweesers, you will just scratch the CD. The eject mechanism on the CD drive is obviously faulty. I would take the stereo out of the car and take the cover off and continue to slowly dismantle the stereo until you can free your CD. Then depending on what type of stereo it is you could either repair it (you or professional) or you could simply bin it and replace it

Please do not put tweezers in it..... you will have to take the unit out and take out the screws on the side that should give you access to the cd then when its on try and eject it and give the cd a push from the rear

we had that in our car, pull off the part infront of the real player once you take it off you'lle see a the little flaps that cover the cd don't use a screwdriver it will mess your cd up use something like tweezers too pull it out it took us awhile and i had to use my fingers to get it out.
Good Luck!!
