No and never will. First off, they smell like vomit. Secondly, people only used to eat this part of the pig because they HAD to. When people were enslaved, the intestines were the only part of the pig their "owners" would leave for them. Nowadays, most people are not poor to the point where all they can afford is a bucket of chitlins, yet for some strange reason the tradition carries on.

No... I never have. I'm Haitian but some of my family members are American. I went over to my cousins moms for a birthday party, she made some and I didn't like the way they looked so I didn't have any.

My mom though had some when she first came from Haiti and she told me she really enjoyed it. She enjoyed it so much that she decided that she was going to try and make some herself. She told me she buys some and gets it home and then the smell hits her. She said she didn't know that it smelled so bad because the ones she had were already cleaned and cooked. She threw it all out and never had it again. Lol.

I have smelled them before. My mother cooked them for her husband once and a high school friends mother cooks them every year for New Year's. Nothing that funky will ever get in my mouth!

No never eaten them. I have been exposed to them when my grandmother used to make them. They stink badly.

older relatives have tried to put me on to chitlins during thanksgiving wit the "you dont know what your missin" line..but ill pass, the smell is awful
