Scented candle or burner and kids..?

I want to buy a scented oil lamp or burner that you plug in or something like that to use it around the house, but I have 8 months old baby, so I wandering if it's harmfull for him to breath it or if it's okay to use them.

Scentsy is a wickless candle that is also lead, soot and flame free so is a very safe alternative to candles. The Scentsy wax melts in the warmer by a 25 watt light bulb so it would be like leaving on a lamp. My kids each have one in their room and use them as nighlights.

It is also a cool melt wax like you would find in a salon so it will not burn if spilled or tipped over- you can put your finger in it when it is melted in the warmer. I have kids and also do French Bulldog Rescue so I feel safe knowing that if it is bumped into or spilled no one will get burned. Good luck on your search!!

I have 3 kids and they have never had a problem with the oil burners, just put them in a place like the kitchen counter because they can get hot and if they do get the oil on them they will probably have sneezing fits because I know I do as an adult.

If your child has asthma or allergies then ask the doctor before you use any overbearing smelly things.

Be sure to get something that "warms" and doesn't burn. I'm a consultant for Scentsy and the warmers use a 25 watt bulb. So our wax gets warm, but not hot. It is nice for families, giving them the reassurance that in the event the child accidentally spills the wax, it will not burn them. Nice to know.

    Good luck!

I would hope not! A lot of people use them. Im sure that its fine, just keep it in a common area and out of the babies reach.

    * I agree, check if the child as asthma
