I had sex for the first time and still no period?

I am 16 years old and I had sex with my boyfriend of two years for the first time about a month ago. We've had sex twice since then. We used condoms every single time. But I still haven't gotten my period, I was supposed to get it about a week ago. I have been so nervous and stressing about being pregnant for the past week that it's driving me nuts. Although one time before I even had sex my period was late for about a week for no reason at all but it's been normal ever since then. Could I be pregnant? Or is it just stress that's causing my late period?

That's the problem. You are stressing out about it. This can keep you from having one. Calm down, breath and relax. It will be alright. If you did use protection, then you should be fine if it didn't break.

    Good luck.

stress has been known to delay periods before...i know because it has happened to me before...so take a deep breath and relax.

if you're really nervous, why not take a pregnancy test, or even better, go and talk to your gyno.

If you had sex yes you can be pregnant. That is why you should not have sex unless you don't care about being pregnant.
