Are trains a reliable source of transportation in Canada during the Winter?

I'm planning a trip to Ontario and Québec this Winter and I was wondering if I could count on the trains to get me from Ottawa to Montréal and then Québec City?

"Hi"..."Yep"...they've been operating in the winter and under severe winter conditions for a long, long, long time and are a reliable source of transportation !

The train from Winnipeg Manitoba ,to Churchill Manitoba , on Hudsons Bay is reliable....it has to be !

Even the trains (including freight trains ) that pull through the Rockies in the dead of winter are good ! *S*

Train travel in the winter is beautiful in Canada .

Hope that calms any apprehensions you have ! *S* (Michael C...)
