Sims 2 question :)?

Okay, I currently have Sims 2 Double Deluxe. But when something big happens to my sim, (getting married, first kiss, having a baby, etc) those little animations with the music and everything never come up! And they do on all of my friends' sims 2 games. So I was wondering if there was any way I can make the animations come on.....

please and thank you :)

Update:

thanks :) I'll try that!!!

You need to go into the game options and look for a place where it talks about the Special Events camera. This option needs to be turned on. If you can't turn it on, then it means that your computer (probably the video card) isn't capable of handling it. Then, you can try to update your video drivers, but if even that doesn't work then you will have to wait to see them when you can play on a better computer.

If your computer can handle the graphics and animation for the special events camera, you can activate it by going into your settings. If the option is grayed out though, your computer can't handle it.

The only thing you'll be able to do is update your system's drivers or upgrading to more memory and/or a better graphics card.
