What ad-blocker would you recommend?

Not a pop-up blocker, not a virus/spyware blocker. A program that makes the advertisements you see on a webite disappear.

I've heard people say that Firefox has some sort of thing that does this. I don't want to install Firefox.

Update:

Darn, I guess that's the unanimous answer =[

    Just install FireFox period!

FireFox is really good and better then IE7 if that's what your using once that's done installing FireFox, import you bookmarks/favorites then install this:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/186...

Then you won't see all the advertisement. Also if your are using IE7 there is a ad-blacker (don't know the name) but it cost like $20.

So just install FireFox you will wish you have did a long time ago.

Unfortunately, you cannot have a separate program that does this specific job. It all really depends on the web browser you have. Therefore, my only real suggestion is to install Firefox since it has the best ad-blocker. The website is on my source.

Firefox has the best ad blocker. Other than that, Proxomitron. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popup-Ad-Spy...
