What's that book based in the future...?
It's based in the future where everyone over a certain age gets killed due to overpopulation. I need it for a project due by 2:30 PM today, anyone?
There was a spoof on it in Family Guy where Brian is being chased by police officers in a futuristic setting and when caught he says "Well what about that guy? He's got to be 50!" and the camera turns to Snoopy.
Does anyone know what book this is!?

"Logan's Run" by George Clayton Johnson
http://www.amazon.com/Logans-George-Clayton-Johnso...
""Logan's Run" is a real classic of the 60's. The authors develop a world where no one lives past youth; at age 21, to avoid overpopulation (and presumably war and other social issues) one reports to a Sleepshop to be drugged to death. To police this policy, a liquid crystal flower is inserted into the palm of each infant, and it changes color with your age, from early childhood to child to youth to finally blinking black-red (last-day) and then black. Sandmen are dispatched to capture runners who don't report to the Sleepshop.
Logan, a Sandman, finds than on his Lastday, drugs and sex don't replace the nagging feeling that life is to be lived with more than 21 years of hedonism. He becomes a runner, and like so many others, tries to find the mythical Sanctuary, where one can avoid the mandated death sentence."

Well... I think there is a book called Logan's Run where everyone dies at age 21. I'm not sure what else there is.
