i have a question. if i take the DMV drivers test online for my permit, and pass it, then where do i get the actual permit?
do i have to go to the actual office to retrieve it?
or do i get it in the mail?

You can take the test online and then have it delivered to you by regular mail (takes about a week) or have a Premium Certificate Delivery Option, at a premium cost to you. Naturally, they will only provide you with your permit after you have taken the Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness test (you can take it online) and it costs $35.00.
