Sims 2 custom content please answer!!!!?
When I tried uploading custom hair, it comes up ALWAYS as the original sims strait black hair. Why does this happen? And also, we tried uploading makeup, we extracted the files and everything, but it never came up in the game...... please help!

Normally if you download (by the way, I assume you mean download as uploading is what you do when you create the hair yourself and then put it on a website so others can download it) a custom hair and then it just looks like a hairstyle from the game, it's because you got the mesh for it, but didn't get the recolor or vice versa.
If someone creates a new item for the game, whether it's a hairstyle or a clothing style or even a new piece of furniture, they make a new mesh first and then they make the texture for it. The texture is normally referred to as a "recolor". You need both parts for the item to show up correctly.
So, go back to the site where you got the hair and then make sure you downloaded both the mesh and at least one recolor for that mesh.
If you extracted files but they are not showing up, are you sure you are putting them into the correct location? I am going to post a link to a tutorial that explains how to get cc into your game. If you read it over slowly and carefully, you should be able to get anything you want into your game.
