Has there been any discussion of the 6 teens in Minnisota charged with abuse in a nursing home? ?

I did a search and found nothing in answers. Here is the article

Many of us have elders in NHs. What charges do you think should apply? Surely this is felony level sexual assault that deserves serious prison time.

Update:

jakflak, 8 are involved, 6 have been charged, but only 2 have been charged as adults, having been adults at the time.

Update 2:

You are the one who needs to read the first article. Of 8, 2 are not charged.

Update 3:

Sheldon, if you read the complaint, the 2 young women who were adults at the time have admitted spitting on patients, sexually stimulating them, squeezing their breasts, and plugging their nostrils with fingers to make them scream. One admits to inserting her finger into a resident's rectum to "stimulate" his bowels even though she had not been trained and it was not her duty. They said they were 'bored'.

The younger ones are being charged with 'failure to report', not the actual abuse. Several of these women claim to have taken photos and videos with their cell phones of the abuse. It is not stated if these have been admitted into evidence.

A lot of news reports allow people to comment on the cases.

    Here is one at ABC.

But I wonder if all 6 of those kids are guilty. I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if a couple kids started pointing fingers at others to get pleas, regardless of whether they kids they were pointing to were actually guilty of anything.

It's TWO teenage girls, not SIX.
