HP laptop screen blank until removed battery!?
My screen on my HP laptop went black. The lights would come on like it was boothing but nothing would happen. I finally took the battery out and when I put it back in , it booted no problem! Is this normal, what could have caused this!? Its only a few months old.

It may have not had a good connection(batt or adaptor,or a low charge, or too hot. Takeing the battery out rest it. If it only did it once I wouldn't worry about it, if it does it all the time take it in and have looked at.

it was probably too hot;
