Which is the better console: XBox 360 or PS3?

Good things with PS3

1. The Graphics are good

2. Blue-Ray movies

3. Not much sound

4. Bigger Hard drive

5. Free online play

Good things about Xbox

1. Xbox Live servers are better then Ps3

2. Some games but Ps3 has good games too

3. NetFlix meaning you can watch movies what haven't came out on dvd yet but need xbox live server or gold

4. Media Share

5. Chat with friends with not having the same games or be in the game

6. Don't have to install games to hard drive

Bad things about PS3.

1. Ps3 Network is slow and you have to log out after 3 hours

2. Freezes up all the time after a game with CoD 4

3. Installing games to hard drive

4. Blue-ray games take longer to make meaning games don't come out as quick

5. Can't talk to people over other games and the people must be in your party to talk meaning you can't chat other games only messengers

6. Game Shop cost way too much.

Bad things about xbox.

1. Paying for online

2. Not much Hard drive space

3. Not Blue-Ray

4. Freezes up SOMETIMES

And I see by the other gamers above only saying what they like and that it I said what is good and bad with both consoles. Little Big Planet is awesome BTW and Resistance 2 FTW

( I'm not gonna talk much about technology, just mainly features, games, and online)

The only "reasons" that I ever hear from 360 fanboys is "The 360 has better games" and "The online is better". They always say Halo 3 and Gears of War, that's about it (What about Bioshock you ask? Oh wait! It's coming to the PS3!). The 360 used to have better games, but now the PS3, despite being released nearly a year later than the 360, has the better games; Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Ratchet and Clank Future, Resistance: Fall of Man, Warhawk, Motorstorm, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid 4, I could go on... the 360 fanboys who still use this excuse are either ignorant or just can't accept the truth. Plus, the only major games the 360 has to look foward to is Gears of War 2 and Halo Wars (yup, that's the real name), the PS3 has some of the most highly anticipated games coming up such as Resistance 2, Final Fantasy 13, Tekken 6,God of War 3, LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, the Agency, I could go on...

As for the online, PSN is just as good as Xbox Live; still, fanboys refuse to believe this, the 360 just has better features, the ps3 is getting EVERY feature that the 360 has it firmware 2.40, and it is also getting HOME. Plus, you can play online for free on the PS3

The PS3 has the potential to have better graphics than the 360, yes, multi-platform games look better on the 360, but that's cuz they were first developed for the 360. Look at any screenshot of Uncharted Drake's Fortune; beautiful graphics ( better than Gears of War) and it's only using 30% of the PS3's power.

But hey, at least the Red Rings of Death is Original :D

Lastly, another thing people (mainly 360 fanboys) complain about for the PS3, is the price. Sony is being pretty generous for lowering the price to $400/$500 (40 and 80 GB models, respectively) from the original $600, yet 360 fanboys still think it's overpriced. You pay more, because you get more:

-Built in Wi-fi

- Blu Ray Drive that plays Blu Ray movies, CDs, and standard DVDS

- Can play online for free

- (if you get the bundle) Free MGS4 ( don't listen if people say it's coming to the 360, it can't; Kojima said it himself)

- Flash Card readers

- Ethernet Port

- HDMI port that supports Full HD (1080p)

- You can upgrade your own hard drive with any 2.5" SATA HDD; you can have up to 250 GB of space! AND, it DOES NOT void your warranty!

- Supports 3rd party Bluetooth headsets and video cameras ( but there is an official "Playstation Eye") unlike Microsoft; you can only use the ones they make.

Total- $500 (80 GB)

I had both, but sold my PS3 because of the lack of good games. The 360 has many more action, RPG games that I enjoyed. Also with alot of the games I have played for both the graphics have been much better on the 360. Also for me the 360's controler feels much more comfortable. The one big up side of the PS3 though is the blu-ray disk player. But I still recommend the 360.

PS3's get very boring after a while and I've been told Xbox Live is amazing.

That's why I'm ditching my PS3 and getting a 360.

Plus the PS3 costs more so you'll get less games with it from 'Santa'

But Resistance 2 is exclusive to PS3 so is many other new RPG and Action n Adventure Games. But I'm sure you'll find replacements.

well that's hard to say because i lost 2 x-box 360's due to the red ring of fire. basically what happens is for no reason when you go to turn it on sometime it doesn't go to green it just stays in red.

ps3 is a total rip-off because the only thing they have better that the ps2 is that they have better graphics, play blue ray, play hd (high definition) for almost 120 dollars more than the ps2. my suggestion is that if don't have a ps2 get it and if you already do get a wii because they are reliable Worth their price and can do amazing things! oh, and if you already have a wii then you're stumped just buy more games for whatever console you have. I GUESS GET X-BOX 360 even thou they break a lot and i mean A-L-O-T but they are cheaper and more fun (for the time that you have them) alot more action for games like gears of war gears of war 2 halo 1,2,3 and other games like your discription

PS3

Pros:

-Never Ever breaks

-Blu-Ray Still exists

-Japanese games are awesome

-MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Resistance2, LBP

-Graphics are Awesome (If your looking for sweeping Landscapes and seamless graphics, want bright colors but a frickin Wii).

-You'll still be seeing it in 3 years.

Cons:

-Greedy Microsoft Assholes are selling out game developers like Square Enix.

-They have to share with Xbox their share of games.

-Awesome, although only a tad bit better than Xbox 360's.

-There is no way in this world Halo will come to PS3.

Xbox 360

Pros:

-Greedy Microsoft execs are rich, nerdy and can buy nearly everything.

-XBOX LIVE

-Halo 3, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Viva Pinata? (Not so much)

-Great at stealing Sony's prized PS3-only developers.

Cons:

-Still Microsoft Execs are still assholes.(But you still have no choice)

-RROD (This Should Be the one reason and one reason only you should not get an XBOX 360 )

-No way in this world MGS4 will come to Xbox 360.

-Xbox 360 is nearing it's end as console in 1.5-3 years and just like it's predecessor will no longer be in future service (damn Bill Gates).

Main Point:

Xbox Will Kill itself one way or another.

Id say 360. It's cheaper, has more games, similar (if not better) graphics

Tons of the type of game your looking for. One downside is that (if you are interested in online) you have to pay for online, but it's worth it.

The 360 has a better controller as well, less buttons.

Go for xbox 360 as after your done with that game get another which could go online, and xbox is better online then ps3

My preference is the 360

I'm gonna say PS3 entirely for Little Big Planet and blu-ray.
