Yes, that would definitely teach "them" a lesson, wouldn't it? It would teach Muslims around the world that what Al Qaeda says about the West in general and America in particular is true, that they are intent upon destroying Islam. Such an attack upon the holiest site in Islam, at a time when it is crowded with people engaging in what is considerd one of the most sacred duties of a Muslim, would radicalize even the majority of Muslims who are not terrorists, or even terrorist supporters. Besides, how would such an act of barbarity be considered "civilized," and how would that make the "civilized world" any better than those you seem to think are uncivilized?
